Join us for this unique journey along one of the most beautiful and scenic Mainlines in Great Britain, with an ex LMS Jubilee Class Locomotive.

Starting from Manchester Victoria, we tackle the steep 1 in 52 gradients of Miles Platting Bank, before snaking "around the houses" towards Guide Bridge and Woodley. Once we have taken water, we continue our journey along via Romiley and New Mills Central toward the original Midland Mainline at New Mills Junction. From here we climb towards Chinley, pass the junction for the Buxton line, and top the bank at Cowburn Tunnel, before descending at high speed through the stunningly scenic Hope Valley through Edale, Bamford and Hathersage. We rejoin the Midland Mainline at Dore and Totley before dropping down into the old Midland Railway station of Sheffield.
