This year marks the 175th Anniversary of the Great Western Railway, and this DVD contains a number priceless sequences that get the celebrations off to a fantastic start. Featurng some wonderfully rare, historically significant, artistic and action packed sequences in which we see the very best of Great Western motive power being put through their paces. Also throughout the video we feature locomotives of other companies running on Great Western Metals with one or two eye brow raisers as well. However, the variety does not end there; we have 45 minutes of Great Britain railtour, including, doubleheaded Steam over the Lickey Incline (including a banking train), the return of Steam to the Stranraer Line for the first time in 10 years & a breathtaking sequence on the Kyle of Lochalsh Line.
